🟧🟧🟧 Basic Introduction

🔸 Say loudly: Welcome everyone! My name is ____, and I'll be your host.

🔸Say: We really believe in starting with the smallest possible prototype when it comes to building great creations. Keeping it simple and adding complexity later is critical. That's why we're rewarding one of those who already have a prototype up today.

🔸Say: In as much as we're competing today, let's remember that the [P1] spirit is about empowering each other to succeed. Our goal is to get as many capable projects as possible to the finish line.

🔸Say: Don't be embarrassed to show off what you've made today. This isn't just a competition; this is a means of gaining real-world experience by watching other people use our stuff. So, you should demo whatever you have, whether it's significant or insignificant, today.

🟧🟧🟧 Invites

🔸 Say: Getting the maximum possible feedback is always helpful and lets you grow your knowledge quickly. Let's all invite our friends to come play the games together with us.

🔸Say: I will paste a message you can send your friends in chat:

hey a bunch of us have made a prototype for a project and would love to have you down to come check it out

🔸 Have everyone send a direct message to those they tagged.

🔸 Say: If you tagged 4 people and also send the message you sent them type: `Yes, I tagged and DMed people, here is the message I sent: " " ` in chat and you will be awarded 300 Faithfulness.

🔸 Say: You can also do this if you invited a non-[P1] friend.
Ignore ❌

Note to Samuel: You're going to have to figure out how these people can bring their friends in if the Discord is going to be locked later on.

🔸 Say: I'll give you guys 5 minutes to tag or message others.
If they message you, send them:

The Covenant is a group of elite [P1] members, hyper-determined to get into the industry as soon as possible, and they collaborate on handpicked quality teams to build commercial projects to get into the industry. All the info you need can be found here: https://discord.gg/muQzGWjrP8

🔸Action: Wait for everyone to finish tagging 4x. Use whatever method to ensure they all get done. One way is to have everyone visit a separate text channel and click the emoji on the word "Done" as follows:

🔸Say: Every team should assign somebody from their team to do the onboarding of new members today. Otherwise you will miss your chance to get the bonus that comes with doing so! Also, if no one takes the opportunity, then new people are left out of the chance to benefit from this community, and that would be very sad.

🟧🟧🟧 Onboarding

🔸Say: If you are brand new here, now is your time to speak up.

🔸Say: All new members say your name in chat and post 1 sentence about your skill set. 3, 2, 1, go!

🔸Wait & look for new faces and call them out "are you new here". Ask Samuel to add a special role to new people if he has not already (DM).

🔸Get link and paste in chat along with text: This checklist link + Use it to onboard new people -- there is a reward for those who do.

🔸Say: You know how we talked about stepping up and seizing opportunities? This is your chance to push your boundaries and gain experiences. Opportunity doesn't always knock, so seize it while it does. Go ahead and bring these people onto your teams.

🔸Say: When it comes to all these new people, it's first come, first serve. Please go ahead and take them onto your teams now!

🔸Say: Not everyone on your team needs to join the playtest so its ok if one person onboards a new person.

🔸Action: Make sure every person has a team to join.

🟧🟧🟧 Playtesting

🔸Say: Now it's time to gather up all of the different things we're going to be testing today. I want each team to write up a set of instructions for testing that may include controls, where to download, and how to run these projects. We will start with the first team to post. Post!

🔸Action: Wait for people to post.

🔸Say: Everyone open a new word document and say I!

🔸Say: We will write feedback for each game in the document.

🔸Say: Write down the title of each game.

🔸Say: Add a # before each title so when you post it into Discord later it will become a title.

🔸Say: Now it's time to gather up all of the different things we're going to be testing today. I want each team to write up a set of instructions for testing that may include controls, where to download, and how to run these projects. We will start with the first team to post. Post!

🔸Say: As we test these wonderful creations, be sure to write down both positive and negative notes to share with the original creators as you play, watch, or test. If you're able to share your screen as you test, that would be amazing. Everyone should be testing each one of these programs or games each time. Don't disengage yourself because that just means less feedback and less empowerment within the community.

🔸Action: Playtest each game. Have people write feedback for the game in chat. Set a timer to make sure all projects can be playtested within 1 hour. Celebrate each game team's bravery after each test!

🟧🟧🟧 Voting

🔸Say: Now, we want everyone who has made something that was tested today to post their one-sentence summary and a link to their project itself.

🔸Action: Have everyone post.

Add a 👍to every post.

🔸Say: Now that everyone has posted, everyone has as many votes as they want to vote up the projects they think have the most potential to be the porotype of a future project which, when developed has the most total potential to impact the world for good.

🔸Say: If you vote, you must also leave a reason why you voted!

🔸Say: You can't vote for your own game!

🔸Say it again: If you vote, you must also leave a reason why you voted! Don't vote without leaving a reason why you think the game is the best prototype which has a chance to impact society for good when done!

🔸Action: Hold the vote.

🔸Action: Award the team with the highest positive votes the victory.

🔸Say: When you submit, please mention that you won this particular competition; otherwise, you will not get the bonus points associated with it.

🔸Action: Celebrate the victory.

🔸Say: If you didn't win today, don't sweat it. Just keep pressing hard; it's only a small number of points, and there's always another chance to be the victor.

🔸Say: Keep pushing until the day after tomorrow, where we will test your games again.
