[Day 6] Introduction to Ranks [Wednesday] [Host]

About Ranks

• Throughout [P1] we have a special ranking system. These ranks help identify people of great qualities such as; their ability to finish what they start, if they are of good character and if they have established skills. 
  • T2 = Finishing: Actually finishing a project and submitting together with your team is a HUGE milestone. This is why everyone who finishes their first game automatically ranks up to Tier 2.
  • T3 and T4 = Honors: However T3 and T4 not only require you to finish but to be elected in the top 50% of your team. To qualify for these ranks you are need to give back to the [P1] community by doing two Introductions, T3s by doing 2x Introduction Giving, T4s by doing 2x Introduction Hosting.

  • Honors explained

    • At the end of each competition we have a feedback session in which your team evaluates your contribution. Namely:  
      
      • • Eagerness: Are you someone who speaks up and takes initiative.
        • Work Quality: Do you do your best work each time you contribute.
        • Personality: Are you a joy to work with?
        • Maturity: Are you emotionally mature?
      • Paste the above in chat. 
    • Those who rank in the top 50% of their team can re-join their team without paying the join-fee in the next round. This is what it means to submit with honors. 
      • Those who fail to submit will remain T1.
    • You must be a T2 member or someone newly recruited by a T2 member to join a T2 team.
      • Slight technical bit here: If a T2 team brings on a person from outside [P1], they can stay on that team for as long as they get elected to the top 50% each time. If not they will need to earn T3-T4 properly and then rejoin. 

T3 & 4

• When it comes to ranking up from T2-T3 and T3-T4, you have to get in that top 50% to rank up.
• Those that rank up to T4 are allowed to join the Virtual Civilization Initiative and other official charity and non-profit projects as officially-signed volunteers. They also are eligible to receive the official [P1] certificate.

FAQ

• What if someone leaves their team after they submit with them and starts a new team, will that team get free members?
  • If it was their first time submitting with a team, they will have ranked up to T2. Any team they create will be considered a T2 team that can only recruit T2 members and members outside [P1]. That team will not get free members from the old team. However, the team will be granted 24,000h (may change) to recruit other T2 members.
