[Day 18] Rank Gifting

Introduction

Some of Wednesday's meeting might spill over into this day because it's a lot to both review every game together, all the trailers, and then vote on them in a single day. If Wednesday spills over into Friday, it will be essential to open the optional section to do with continuing Wednesday.

Preparation

Be sure to know what the game jam theme is for this month before you start this checklist. You can fine this in #news in Discord.

🔸Say: As you do that, I'll mention that these lists often seem arbitrary and inaccurate, yet they can predict workplace promotions.

If great work goes unrecognized, two actions can help:

1) The team leader can create traditions to highlight efforts.

2 The individual can speak up more about their achievements.

Mastering self-advocacy is key to workplace advancement, while team leaders master the art of shining a light on their team members is very also critical.

2) Thank them for their awesome work

3) Award them their rank:

3) Celebrate their hard work with the soundboard

Join a voice channel, click the 🎉emoji, choose, for example, the golf clap sound.
