[Day 2] Re-Pitching Checklist

🟦🟦🟦 For Re-Pitching Teams

🟢 Say: Games that were already approved last time can be disapproved this time unless they're able to demonstrate a clear plan on how they intend to progress their game.

🟢 Say: Our goal is to create a 5-minute presentation talking about how we intend to progress our game.

🟢 Say: Here's what our pitch needs to contain:

  • A list of which at least 3 (better 5+) awards your game struggled with last time and how you intend to address the issues. For example, if you got in the bottom 50% of the "most fun" voted games, you should mention that and state your plan to address it.
  • A video or detailed presentation, with a preference for video, that is 3 minutes long, clearly demonstrating the state that the game is in, including the bugs faced.
  • How you plan to integrate the new theme, if at all.
  • Project management and personnel mistakes you made last time and how you intend to do better.
  • Programming mistakes you made last time and how you intend to improve.
  • Gameplay loop slide should be totally remade, including improvements to the loop itself and visual presentation of the loop.
  • Other mistakes you made and how you intend to do better.
  • Art, programming, and sound direction changes and why you made them.
  • A clear day-by-day milestone set showing where you want to be every single day of the competition until the end and what it will look like at the end.
