Team Registration - Next Steps - Guide
π₯π₯ Urgent, Read Now π₯π₯
The team leader must ensure their team goes through this checklist once a day, every day starting with "π¦π¦π¦ Today" right after the team registers.
Team leaders are responsible to make sure their team follows this checklist. Doing a negligent job will ensure your team is disbanded or your team leader is replaced.
Despite this, we want you to use your intuition to skip steps where you think it's appropriate. However, you should have a very good reason, and that reason should be explainable to the Ignite Host.
π§π§π§ Checklist Basics
Team leader, read this out loud to your team!
Why It Matters: Critical Next Steps for Your Team
The difference between successful teams and unsuccessful teams is their ability to attract, connect, and maintain members.
In this guide, we'll provide daily instructions to ensure your team's success. We must meet daily and follow this guide. We can do multiple days at once if we want to. We must make sure to do "π¦π¦π¦ Today", now.
Skipping steps will almost guarantee our failure to both understand how the competition works and how we can win it, if we don't already have years of experience in the industry.
We must follow this checklist with determination to get the most out of each step.
πΈ Stop reading. Share your screen and show them the legend.
π¦π¦π¦ Legend
πΈ Orange = the lead should read this.
πΉ Blue = Everyone should follow this silently together.
π¦π¦π¦ = Headers/subheaders.
π₯Goals: Goals help your team understand why a section has been created so that they can use their creativity to accomplish the goal without going through everything step by step.
π§π§π§ For Re-Registering Teams
πΈTeams which have already completed this checklist should review the checklist for new information for that day and then go to the [Team] Every Day Checklist if there is nothing new that day.
πΈThis checklist is meant to be done on top of your regular game development, before you do it.
πΈAvoid the temptation to start making your game right away without doing the checklist.
π¦π¦π§ Today
πΈ Have your team open this webpage and read this togetherπΉstep-by-step.
π¦π¦ Meetings
πΈ Say: The best way to keep members engaged is to have them be in voice chat on a regular basis. The first step is to iterate and reiterate your team's daily meeting time to your team.
π§π¦ Time Zone Tool
πΈ Say: Now we need to learn how to use hammertime together. Let's open the website share the link and see if we can figure out how it works.
πΉ Discuss. If stuck, use guide.
πΉ Set up a team meeting time for your team and make it clear that those who don't show up without an excuse 24 hours beforehand will be removed from the team. Be strict as we see 90% of teams, which fail to meet live regularly, fail totally.
πΉExplain that those can't come to a meeting say so in your private thread and tag your whole team in that thread each time they can't come. Practice this now.
πΈLEAD: It's up to you what your team's rules are but being strict will help you. To offboard inactive members follow this offboarding guide. Bookmark it for later.
π¦π¦ General Discord Meetings
πΉ Read: Daily meetings facilitate the mentorship and testing that makes this community a standout place to create a game.
πΉ Read: Your goal is to discover when the daily meetings are and to figure out which time zone of the daily meetings you're going to attend because we have daily meetings in more than one time zone typically. Look for the daily meeting section. Find the time that works for your team and discuss it together now.
πΈLead: Have your whole team hit "Interested" on the event you want to attend and add it to your calendar.
πΉ Members who attend the meeting must bring back news/announcements from that meeting to your individual team meeting. Teams which bring the most members to a daily meeting are rewarded with Helpfulness.
π§π§ Checklist After Meetings
πΈ Say: This checklist is designed to be used after each meeting.
πΈ Say: When we meet together, we will listen to the Ignite Host, and the Ignite Host will eventually break us up into groups.
πΈ Say: When we are broken up into teams we need to pick up on this checklist where we left off.
π¦π¦ Team Size Concerns
πΉWe'll get into recruiting team members after the people you currently have have worked through setting up your game idea.
πΉ[P1] will provide all the people you need.
π¦π¦ Next Step
πΉ If you have the time, do π¦π¦π¦ Day 2 as well, but if not, stop and rest for the day.
πΈTeam lead: Be there to lead day 2 or you will cause your team some grief. If you can't be there tomorrow, do Day 2 with them now.
π¦π¦π¦ Day 2
π¦π Appoint a Time Keeper/Facilitator
π Do this section only if your team leader is not here. Repeat this any day in which this is the case.
πΉ Someone must be in charge of keeping things flowing at a reasonable pace. If you are willing to help, speak up in voice chat. If no on is speaking, it's your time to take initiative and break the silence.
πΉ Elect someone to be a facilitator.
- Nominate candidates by @tagging them
- Or step up by @tagging yourself
- Congratulate those who step up π
- Use πemoji for the person you want to lead
- Don't elect the same person twice in a row.
πΈ = The elected person's responsibility.
πΈ Say: I've been elected to facilitate this meeting, but you need to follow me on this checklist, or you'll miss important parts of what we do.
π¦π¦ Understanding Divisions
πΉ All teams within [P1] are organized into Divisions and Legions. Divisions represent a group of four teams, Legions are up to 13 teams large.
πΉ What you need to know right now is that they are designed for mentorship and they greatly increase your chances of victory in the cycle.
πΉ Going solo as a team will be difficult and likely not benefit you at all and the sacrifices made to be part of a Legion or Division are very minor.
πΉ Before you join a Division, you need to understand [P1] values so that you can conform to our rigorous standards.
π¦π¦ Values
πΉ Read: Every team can benefit from mentoring by teams that have submitted projects to the cycle. A Division is simply a group of teams under one experienced team's leadership.
πΉ Joining a Division is like asking a team to come in and mentor you through the process of developing your product.
πΉ We at [P1] only want to invest this sort of time in teams that share our values.
πΉ Therefore, we ask your team to fill out this form about our values before applying to join a Division.
πΉ However, your team leader will instead do the "π§π§ Joining a Division" form and the team will fill them in afterward.
πΉ Team, fill this form.
π If you already run a Division, do this instead, if not, skip.
π Adding teams to your Division
- πΈ Have everyone fill this form just to get everyone on the same page. You don't need to do this again if you already did it.
- πΈ The Division or Legion leader should follow π§π§ Advertising a Division guide and be sure to update your post if you did this already.
- πΉ When it asks you to post in your Division thread in the values form, post in the Division Ad thread posted by your team leader instead.
- Once done continue at: "π¦π¦ Regroup & Share Value Ideas" as a team.
π§π§ Advertising a Division
Use this template to post in "#seeking-Division" but change the word "Division" to "Legion" if you are one.

@Elected Team Leader π₯, I am interested to join your division if you believe I would be right for you.
### For older team leaders:
Note: In case you missed the division update, every team that has successfully submitted to the Ignite becomes a Division. New teams can apply to:
(1) Pair up with other new teams to form a Division (even before submitting)
(2) Join already-established Divisions.
*Two Divisions cannot unite, and teams cannot change Divisions unless they create their own new Division.*
### If you feel my team is ideal for your Division, please reply by creating a new thread.
πΉ Being part of a division is an essential step toward succeeding in the competition. So reach out to division leaders if need be, if they don't pick you up right away.
π¦ Regroup & Share Values, Ideas
πΈSay: I have a applied to join a Division. You guys should be done the form. Are you done, or shall I wait?
πΈπ If wait, watch the video in this form: https://p1oc.net/values
πΈπIf they are back:
1) Ask them to speak up on the mic, calling out one at a time asking them the following questions:
Make sure they don't use text chat unless they're at work.
- πΈ Say: "{First person in Discord}," I'm told that the form that you filled out talks about [P1]'s values. Which values resonated with you the most?
- πΈ Say: "{2nd person in Discord}," I'm told that the form that you filled out talks about [P1]'s values. Which values resonated with you the most?
- Etc.
2) Ask them to share the notes they wrote.
πΈ Assign 1 of them to share the form and their notes with any team members that did not make it yet using a private thread.
Help them make the private thread if need-be.
πΈ Lead, bookmark this form and fill it later when you have some time.
π¦π¦ Align Project Goals
πΈSuccessful teams brainstorm various ideas to achieve their goals. We have an exercise you should do with your team to set things up for your next meeting.
π¦π¦ Develop a Goal Statement
π¦ Introduction
πΈ Say: Let's discover each other's goals for joining [P1] so we can effectively make a project that fulfills those goals.
π¦ Timer
πΉ Pull out your phone or set a timer on another device for 120 seconds. Have it ready for your speech to last exactly 2 minutes.
πΈ Make sure everyone shares their dream or goal from first to last in alphabetical order taking no more than 2 min each.
πΈ Have the team celebrate each person as they do. Skip those who can't speak as we can't wait for typing and don't want to encourage it.
π¦ Write Goal Summaries
πΉ Work together to summarize your goals in one collective sentence that best represents the diversity of the goals presented.
πΈ Have everyone write down at least one goal statement in the chat. Ask everyone to vote for the ones you think should be the team goal statement using a thumbs-up emoji.
πΈ Once everyone has posted their goal summary add a π emoji to each goal statement.
πΈ Speak to your team: React with a π emoji to the one you resonate with most. You can vote for as many as you like.
πΈ Say: Now, the statement with the most votes is our goal statement.
πΈ Say: Ask everyone to open a brand new document and to write the goal statement at the top of the document.
π§ Impact Goals
πΈ Say: All games made with [P1] must have positive impact on humanity.
πΈ Have everyone open this Google Sheet with causes appropriate for [P1].
πΈ Have everyone open this list of potential causes and copy-and-paste in text chat cause categories they care about. They should post 10 categories to chat as a team.
πΉ Vote on the top 3 category ideas. π
π§ Choosing an Impact Subtopic
πΉ The top 3 ideas you have upvoted likely need subcategories. "Education" for example, is too broad. Add 3 ideas each to the "Subtopics" to help fill out the Google Sheet.
This will help other teams and encourage them to choose your cause.
πΉ Then pick 3 Subtopics within your most voted categories and post them in Discord.
πΉ Try to avoid controversial issues.
πΉ Vote on a cause you all support using emoji.
π¦π¦ Learning Design
πΉ We use a workshop system that absorbs our mentors' knowledge in recorded form, then discuss their insights to create impactful games. Start with the checklist at "π§π§π§ Learning Activities", selecting "Design" as your option.
π¦ Focus on Mechanics-Based Design
πΉ When brainstorming game ideas don't tie your game together using narrative as this is a classic mistake, rather use game mechanics. For example, a platformer is defined by jumping, an FPS is defined by shooting. You have to come up with YOUR thing.
π¦π¦ Develop a Game Idea
π₯Goal: Come up with a game idea that fulfills your goals and has an impact.
π¦ Reading Examples
πΉ Here is a list of example games. Read through them together to get the idea of what we are looking for:
Example Games
Medical Education
- Explore the human body and solve puzzles as you learn how cells interact.
- This idea has a great impact on education.
Warning on educational games:
The games we are making should not be gratuitous but rather fun to play first and then have elements that make them impactful, because if games aren't fun, nobody will play them. So, it's good to have a clear strategy on how you're going to have an impact with your game, maximizing the number of players who are having fun, and through the process of having fun, are learning, rather than being forced to learn.
Cultural Appreciation
- Listen to songs from around the world and guess which country they come from to appreciate different styles of music.
- This idea would make a great portfolio piece in education.
Interpersonal Communication
- Choose strategies to resolve conflict in a story-based or narrative-based game.
- Educational impact.
Physical Health
- Gamify daily exercise routines.
- Physical impact.
Financial Literacy
- Players collect and manage the resources of a growing city-state learning about the important of balancing debt with spending amongst other gameplay elements.
- Educational impact.
Warning on the importance of gameplay:
The games we make don't need to be totally overtaken by their impact, but rather they should season a great experience with a noble cause.
Community Building
- Build and manage a virtual community, making decisions that affect its harmony, diversity, teaching the value of community care.
- Educational impact.
- A portfolio piece for designers.
Historical Appreciation
- Give the world a fresh take on a history truly misunderstood today. Bring out a thrilling story that teaches people what really happened.
- Political impact.
The ideal game mixes your team's needs with the ability to make an impact.
π¦ Brainstorming
First Rule
πΉ The first rule of brainstorming is "every idea is allowed when brainstorming".
πΉ During brainstorming, quickly jot down all ideas, ethical or not, related to the project or not.
πΉ Don't shoot down your creativity.
Brainstorming System
πΉ Brainstorming is a science more than an art. To come up with new ideas is more about starting your creative engine by mixing and matching ideas that already exist.
Anton Slashcev on LinkedIn has a great post on this. Check it out.

πΉ His genius lies in not reinventing the wheel but in looking at what's already working and adding creativity to it.
πΉ Borrowing something that works is better than trying to come up with something totally new.
πΉ Open this Google Sheet
πΉ Work together to add three mechanics to the sheet in order to create a more comprehensive list for every other team to benefit from.
πΉ Use it to come up with out-of-the-box game ideas that meet your team's goals and cause.
πΉ Vote on an idea.
π¦π¦ Break Your Idea
πΉ Coming up with ideas is easy, but identifying potential faults is crucial. It's better to spot issues early than to double down on an idea that won't work within the given timeframe.
πΉ Brainstorm all the possible ways your idea might fail due to the technology involved, the scope, or a mismatch with your goals.
π Come up with new ideas if you are able to undermine the viability of your current one.
π§π§ Reddit Validation vs Pitch Days
π§ Choosing a Path
πΈ Post this in chat and have everyone read it silently:
Every cycle that we do starts off with a big kickoff day. If you started a new project with a team or continued a project starting six days before the cycle kickoff event or one day after, you are considered "synchronized" with our regular schedule.
If not, you are considered unsynchronized.
πΈ Say: Based on what you read, do you believe us to be synchronized or unsynchronized?
πΈ Choose a path based on the results.
π If unsynchronized
πΈ Say: To validate our idea, we are going to use our [P1] Reddit.
πΈ Have everyone make Reddit account if they don't have one already.
πΈ Ask them to use their real names or Discord username.
πΉ Reddit has useful voting features but we recommend other platforms for day-to-day reading since the anonymous usernames lead to an environment where no one trusts each other and reputation is built off being controversial rather than factual.
πΉ If you are curious why, Samuel recently sat down with Seth Kaplan who helps rebuild countries the US government and the World Bank to discuss the issues of our online anonymity leads to a culture of burning bridges rather than investing in relationships.
πΉ Work together to post your cause idea to Reddit and vote for others you think are worthy of a vote.
1) Make a Reddit account
2) Visit this special link
It does not work on mobile
πΉ π In case the link is broken
It's a template to create a new post that includes:
Title: A game dedicated to ____ which is about ____.
Body:
Team Name:
Game Title:
Cause Chosen:
Team's Goals:
Primary Opposition for the Player:
Creative Strategies to Overcome the Opposition:
Gameplay Loop Image and Description:
[Please select the "Game Idea" flair for this post.]
If you don't know what any of these are, we strongly recommend you do our design workshop mentorship before continuing.
3) Choose "Add flair and tags" and choose "Game Idea"
4) Write your post filling in the template
5) Visit https://www.reddit.com/r/p1games/ vote for causes others have posted and leave at least one comment on another team's post. Especially, if you have some experience. Let the team know what they're doing right and wrong with their idea. Do not move forward without leaving feedback, as everybody will be stuck if no one leaves feedback.
6) Post a link to your Reddit post in our Discord and ask others to vote on it.
π§ Validation
πΈ Before moving forward with the idea, you should get feedback from other [P1] members using this method. Don't move forward until you have at least three comments -- take them seriously. Moreover, you should take time to comment on three other posts now.
πΉ To successfully complete this cycle, it's good to make alliances with other teams. But first you've got to break the ice. Your challenge is to find another team hanging out in voice chat and greet them and ask them for feedback on your idea.
π If synchronized
πΉ Your team needs to come up with a pitch for the game which will be presented to the entire community.
πΉ Read this checklist, The Process of the Contest [WIP], together to understand when the pitch days are.
πΉ If the pitch day is tomorrow, you need to have your pitch done by tomorrow in order to get feedback for the final judgements which likely happen on Mon/Tues. These times may change, so do refer to the above checklist.
π If you are resubmitting an old game use this pitch checklist - How to Pitch Your Game
π If you are submitting a brand new game, even if your team is already established, use this checklist.
πΈSet a time for Day 3: If your team is late for the Ignite, you may consider doing "Day 3" today. If not, set a time in which you will do "Day 3" with your team.
=========== SKIPPABLE ===========
πΉDAILY QUEST: There is a currency called Helpfulness which you are required to accumulate to submit to each sprint cycle. This form will give you 500 Helpfulness each: https://share.deftform.com/0kA9sV
πΉ You may help each other submit the form but don't share the end-codes.
=============================
π¦π¦π¦ Day 3
Remember you can do as many of these in a day as you can handle. Some do 3 days' work in one, while others spread it out.
Appoint a leader
π¦π Appoint a Time Keeper/Facilitator
π Do this section only if your team leader is not here.

- Or step up by @tagging yourself
- Congratulate those who step up π
- Use πemoji for the person you want to lead
- Don't elect the same person twice in a row.
πΈ = The elected person's responsibility.
πΈ Say: I've been elected to facilitate this meeting, but you need to follow me on this checklist, or you'll miss important parts of what we do.
π§π Reddit Validation
π If unsynchronized
πΉ You should go ahead and check on Reddit if you posted there. Once you have three comments stating their approval of your idea, you can move forward. However, if they request corrections, we should make those corrections and post again until you get three positive comments of approval.
πΉ If you're not getting enough responses, take the link to your Reddit post and post it into "#π¬ General-Chat" in our Discord.
π If synchronized
πΉ Once done this day's list, you need to make sure that you continue preparing your pitch for Monday and Tuesday (unless your Legion has let you know that you'll be pitching earlier). You should avoid working on your game until your game idea is approved.
πIn both cases:
πΉ You must ensure that your game is an actual game. This means you have opposition for the player to overcome through strategy.
π¦ Asset Discord
πΈ Say: Each team has the opportunity to use all the assets already present in the Open Source Asset Library Discord.
πΈ Say: In doing so, we're making a promise that we ourselves will put every asset we create back in that Discord.
πΈ Say: Every asset we create together must be uploaded with our name on it and placed there. And the code we create must be done on a GitHub repo and linked into that Discord.
πΈ Say: It should be noted that those assets are licensed for everyone to use freely under the Apache 2.0 license. [P1] Games has never used or commercialized the open source assets there -- the library was created for our members.
πΉ Take a look at that together and have everyone verify and open it up: https://discord.gg/AEszJ5xrWh
=========== SKIPPABLE ===========
πΉ This form will give you 500 Helpfulness each: https://share.deftform.com/B0xn7d

π¦π¦π¦ Day 4
Remember you can do as many of these in a day as you can handle. Some do 3 days' work in one, while others spread it out.
π¦π¦ Updating Your Team Post
πΉ By now, you should know what you're doing and why. Now, make that clear in a simple format to attract people to your team.
πΉ The current post is insufficient for understanding your team, its roles, and your project. Now is your chance to enhance your post so others can grasp what you're doing, why, and decide if your team is the right fit for them.
πΉ This post should also serve as sufficient onboarding material for new members.
- Visit "team-list":
- Click your post (search it in the top bar if needed) and then hover over it and click "edit".
πΉ Here is what it should contain, including ideal formatting:

π¦π¦ Understanding Helpfulness
π₯ Your goal is to have your team understand Helpfulness. Give it a brief read in case you have already understood it to make sure that you absorb any updates. But skip it entirely if you fully understand it as a team, making sure all members understand it.
π¦ Reason Helpfulness Exists
πΉ [P1] is a volunteer community led entirely by the volunteers that inhabit it.
πΉ Volunteering is a deeply sacrificial act done from a place of compassion.
πΉ If everyone who came only benefited from [P1] but did not give back, [P1] would immediately crumble.
πΉ Helpfulness ensures [P1]'s Ignite sustains its own needs.
πΉ Helpfulness is also useful to ensure people are distributed equally between the teams.
π¦Helpfulness Passes & Submission
Submission
πΉAt the end of every two-week cycle, every team needs to submit their game.
πΉTo do this, they need to buy access to the submission form.
πΉThe submission form can be bought by a Team, a Division, or a Legion. Divisions and Legions can distribute the form to their entire group.
πΉ STOP and ask your team if they are confused by any of this or their confusion will only grow.
πΉ Visit "#π΄off-topic-or-bot-spam" and type /buy. It's good etiquette to use that channel but it's not required.
πΉ Prices vary based on the competition.
πΉ You will need a T1 Game Cycle Submit Form to submit as a team at the end of the competition.
πΉ You'll also need to buy a Join Pass for each person who joins your team, unless you recruit them from outside of [P1] yourself or give them an Introduction Chat.
πΉ Read this article individually, separately, and type hamburger in chat when you're done. https://articles.p1games.com/introduction/helpfulness
πΉ STOP and ask your team if you are confused by any part of the article and discuss it together.
πΈ Say: Are there any questions anyone has about what we've read?
π§ Voice Channels
πΈ Say: Everyone, you need to know that you, if you are the first person to join the Discord for the day, need to create the team channel. Don't wait on anyone else.
πΈ Say: The easiest way for a team to earn Helpfulness is to be in a voice channel, even if they're not at their keyboard at the time.
πΈ Say: The first person to come online for the day creates a channel and we all join that person.
πΈ Have the whole team create new channels just to test it out.
πΈ Have the whole team type the following command in their channels to practice:

π§π§ Weekly Elections
πΈ Say: To finish off this day, we must go through this checklist and elect leaders:
https://articles.p1games.com/daily-meeting-checklists-teams/day-9-general-elections-team
That checklist will also cover Introductions and Onboarding new members. Skip the "π¦π¦π¦ Daily Meeting" section at the bottom.
π₯π₯ WARNING: Team Leader π₯π₯
πΈ You are required to keep a log of all the people you elect as Introduction givers for each day.
πΈ The above checklist will explain everything about Introductions.

πΉ Elect yourself a leader for this meeting.

π¦π¦ Ranks
π¦ Why Ranks
πΉ [P1] is a resource for many employers looking for people who are already vetted for their professionalism and attitude.
πΉ Employers know that if they get someone from [P1], they'll get someone of rock-solid integrity, who has a passion for their craft.
πΉ The rank system helps us identify who in the community has a track record of standing out.
πΉ It should be noted that, at the time of writing this, [P1] does not profit from creating connections between employers and employees. It's purely a free service as part of our mission.
πΉ Together, see if you can find the Hall of Fame in our Discord to see who got hired recently!
πΉ Ranking up will not be for everyone in this community, as 30% are casual hobbyists. But for the ambitious, we want to pair your on positive-impact projects that will make the difference for the world at large.
π¦ Final Mission
πΉ [P1] started as one big project. However, a lot of people joined us and we found ourselves flexing the project to accommodate the needs of what people wanted to build on their portfolio.
πΉ This made us ineffective when it came to making our projects. But we found ourselves too passionate about empowering people not to meet their needs.
πΉ So we decided to go all in on empowering people to succeed through [P1] Ignite, this open source incubator.
πΉ Our end goal is to pair high ranked people up on amazing positive impact projects which will change the world for the better.
πΉ We believe the worlds we play in can have massive potential and we want to create and vet the volunteer talent necessary to build worlds by people, for people.
π¦ Rank Disqualification
πΉ First and foremost, people who break the rules are disqualified from earning ranks. This prevents problematic people rising in the ranks.
πΉ This means that ranking up only applies to people who don't add their team as friends on Discord until they're rank T4, people who don't gossip or listen to gossip.
πΉ Read the code of conduct together until the end of the video.
πΉ Watch the video together using Discord activities:
How to use Discord activities
Step 1: Click the π
πΈ Step 2: Choose "Watch Together"
πΈ Step 3: Put in the URL
πΈ Step 4: Have everyone click "Join Activity"
πΈ Step 5: Say: "Click the Rocket Emoji"
πΈMake sure they are all watching: You can see who clicked the rocket emoji.
πΈ Call out the names of those who are not watching!
πΈ Note that when you lead an activity, you are in charge of the video that's playing, including where you're at in the video and when it's paused. However, everyone can set their own level of volume, so it's good to encourage people to do this.
π¦ Ranks
The prior rank is required to rank up in each case.
- T1 = anyone who is able to afford a T1 join pass.
- T2 = anyone who successfully and properly submits to a game cycle.
- T3 = anyone who is elected to the top 50% of their team for the four criteria seen in π¦ Ranking Up
- T4 = anyone who is elected to the top 50% of their team who was already T2 in the last round.
- T5 = anyone who is elected to the top 50% of their team as T4 who has served at least one term as senator.
π¦ Ranking Up
πΉ At the end of each cycle, teams will rate their fellow members based on these criteria:
- Eagerness: Are you someone who speaks up and takes initiative.
- Work Quality: Do you do your best work each time you contribute.
- Personality: Are you a joy to work with?
- Maturity: Are you emotionally mature?
πΉ Those scoring in the top half based on their teammates' ratings are considered in the top 50% of their team.
π¦π§ Recruiting Friends
πΉ Recruiting people is always optional, but many want to know how.
πΉ Together you've been able to see the value of this place over the last five days. The average person finds they get more value out of what we do for free than their university education:
πΈ Say: A lot of people don't know how to invite people to [P1].
πΈ Say: The best way to invite people to [P1] is to send them this link:
https://p1games.com/careers
πΈ Say: The reason is when people are volunteering for a volunteer position, they take it much more seriously than just joining a Discord community.
πΈ Say: Does everyone understand how to invite their friends?
πΈ Say: Let's read this next section silently together.
π¦π¦ Electing Senators
πΉ Games are judged in the Ignite by representatives of teams that participate in that cycle.
πΉ These judges are considered the people of the highest integrity in all of [P1]. Each team can only elect one per cycle.
πΉ The ideal Senator is somebody who has a great attitude, a willingness to help and a love for [P1]'s mission and vision.
πΉ Senators represent the best [P1] has to offer the world.
πΉ Read this together:
https://articles.p1games.com/advanced/the-senate
πΉ Now it's time to determine who will be your team's senator.
π§ Actual Election
πΈ Say: Everyone, let's tag somebody we think should be our team senator.
πΈ Say: Let's react with a thumbs up emoji underneath Senators candidates to determine which should rep our team.
πΈ Elect the senator and create a ticket asking the senator to be given their senate election role.

πΉ This form will give you 500 Helpfulness each: https://share.deftform.com/o8eebw

πΉ These only work once every 6 hours.
=============================
π¦π¦π¦ Day 6
πΉ Teams are limited to 6 members maximum.
πΉ Shadow Teams allow you to extend your team size beyond 6 people.
πΉ Extending your team beyond 6 people gives you a massive manpower advantage.
πΉ To do so effectively, you need to go to the next introduction meeting and find a producer who can start a shadow team under the wings of your team.
πΉ Shadow Team leaders are managers of their own team within your team dedicated to helping you.
πΉ However, once the cycle is complete, Shadow Team leaders create their own team under your Legion.
πΉ At the end of every cycle, teams split into two separate distinct teams.
πΉ If you create a Shadow Team, you will not need to split your team up into two, but rather your team will divide based on who is on the Shadow Team.
πΉ Creating a Shadow Team allows you to pre-prepare a team and have them split off.
πΉ Read our article on Shadow Teams together: https://p1oc.net/shadow-teams

Passive Introduction (inviting friends, old version)
This method is if you don't need them to get a personalized introduction to [P1] to understand what it's all about. But you just want to invite them to see the server.
Click the invite button:
Set the link to permanent:
Invite them down by sending whoever you want the link.
When they join, they will be greeted by our verify page, which is not visible to you, but will be visible to them.
If they click it and click on π Verify and follow the instructions, they will unlock the Discord.
Anyone you invite to [P1] this way that joins your team gets to join for free. Simply request a refund for the cost of the join pass using a ticket after you buy it for them.
Hands-On Interview
This process is better for people who are very serious about joining us, as a personalized introduction is something we can offer anyone interested in what we do. The first step is to simply send them this link:
http://p1oc.net/meetwithus
Then simply ask them to tell you the time they choose on the calendar presented via that link.
They will be sent to the Introductions Discord seen here https://discord.gg/5q3hVx4tyd at that time. If you meet them there and give them a proper Introduction, you can have 5,000 helpers. But if not, our team will give them a comprehensive introduction.
