The Senate
What Is The Senate?
The Senate is an elected body of volunteers that help represent the needs of their individual team to the Ignite host and [P1] as an organization.
Senators are typically elected based on their integrity and level of contribution.
What Do Senators Do?
Judge games: At the end of each competition, they determine the winners.
Decide who gets hired: They are the gateway between their team and employers who come looking for the best of the best.
Report problematic systems & people: They bring up issues with the jam process or their own team members to the Ignite host.
Dedicated volunteer teams: Senators help set up teams dedicated to promoting people's work outside of [P1] or to better connect with employers.
